The Middle School Steel Drum Ensemble will be performing for the Summerlin Academy Sophomore event on Saturday, February 3. The theme of the event is “All Aboard the USS Summerlin.” DSA Students will be meet and depart from DSA at 4:30 p.m.  At 5:30 students will arrive at Spessard Holland Elementary School to set up for the performance. The performance will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.  The conclusion of the performance will be at 6:30 p.m. At this time, students will be pack equipment, load the trailer and board the bus for DSA. Departure for DSA is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. arriving at DSA at 7:45 p.m. Students should be picked up promptly at this time.

Students should wear their Khaki pants, Black DSA shirt, Black Belt, and White sneakers for this performance.

Parent Chaperone assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please let Mr. Guira know if you can help.

** Also, Parents if you wish to drop off your student directly at the performance venue and or pick your student from the venue please message Mr. Guira as soon as possible.  [email protected]

Schedule:

• 4:30 p.m. – Meet at DSA/Depart for Spessard Holland Elementary School
• 5:30 p.m. – Arrive at Spessard Holland Elementary/ Set up equipment
• 6:00 p.m. – Performance
• 6:30 p.m. – Pack Equipment
• 7:00 p.m. – Depart for DSA or Dismissed to parents from Spessard Holland
• 7:45 p.m. – Arrive at DSA  - Students promptly picked up
